I moved to Colorado from Georgia in the summer of 1997 to race mountain bikes and I’m still here! Sometimes you choose life and sometimes life chooses you. That’s how I got into the construction scene. I started picking up carpentry odd jobs in college at the University of Georgia for extra cash while I was earning a degree in statistics. After graduation and a couple of interviews later I decided that the downtown of a big city, fluorescent light, and cubicles, office scene wasn’t for me. It was more satisfying to do carpentry and witness the progress on a day to day basis.
With over 20yrs in the carpentry world, I am trained in all phases of woodworking throughout the building process. Over the last decade or more I have specialized in finish work which I truly enjoy the most.
When I’m not putting my skills to work for Factor Design Build, I enjoy my free time in the mountains. Basecamp is my home in Nederland where I suit up and go mountain biking, exploring trails on my motorcycle, backcountry skiing, running and many other outdoor activities. My downtime is also enjoyed with my wife and son camping and site seeing around this beautiful area of the country.
