Denver, CO
This Milwaukee St. remodel focused primarily on modernizing the kitchen and mudroom for a cleaner, more open feel and more consistent flow through the rest of the house. Stylistically, we focused on maintaining timeless yet elevated updates to the interior, such as the braided fireclay tile at the range backsplash that adds a whimsical pattern and touch of color that sets off the darker knotty alder hood surrounding. This family wanted the new space to be open and bright in contrast to the original model which was cramped and dark in general feel, and inefficient in layout. The finished product allows for this family to gather in what can finally feel like the heart of the home, and not just a cramped space for preparing food.
