Modern Porch Design with Shou Sugi Ban Siding

Step onto this uniquely designed modern porch, where rich materials and intentional contrast set the tone. Featuring blonde glue-laminated beams paired with dark Shou Sugi Ban siding, the design strikes a balance between bold aesthetics and inviting warmth. Unlike many modern porches that lean toward cold, commercial minimalism, this space is all about natural texture, graceful aging, and comfort. The careful mix of materials creates visual interest while maintaining a sense of calm and approachability—making it a perfect outdoor extension of the home.
